I say Cakewalk cause it's a great program, pretty simple, has lots of stuff, and I have had a lot of past experience with it.

I think more most of them are the same. You know audio programs have become like word processers. there used to only be a few and now everyone and their dog in making them. I think the more imporatnt quesiton to what are you doing with your "recordin"?

I typically use Reaper to record and Audacity to edit, but not necessarily always. Sometimes I only use one or the other. It really just depends on what I'm going for.

@Soy, you can get it 100% free from http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
No torrents needed and it is free.

so, I used to really like NIN. I went down to their site and it looks like they are doing some interesting things. They are offering multi track downloads, for remix and screw around with.

I thought i would let you guys know about it. It could be good opportunity to learn and linker.

Yeah, I tried to remix one of their songs (the hand that feeds) on Garageband. It's pretty cool!

I like that NIN also released an album for free off the site.
