Tornadoes oh my!

I was just sitting here getting a Minnesota fishing license off the internet when my sister called to tell me that we're in a tornado watch-apparently in it's predicted path. I decided to go outside to see what it looked like (it's supposed to be coming from the west and there are trees blocking all of the west-facing windows). When I got outside all of my neighbors were outside looking as well. I came back in and looked on weather.com to see if my sister messed something up. Turns out I should "seek shelter immediately."

Just the mental image of the robot voice on the radio saying "seek shelter immediately" and a bunch of people standing outside makes me laugh.

So....What happened??!!

basements always the best place to be if a torndo is around. my dad grew up in alabama, so he had tons of tornados

Well, Mici, nothing here really. I was in my backyard trying to spot a tornado or funnel cloud-I think I saw one that the weather channel predicted but it eventually went behind some houses and trees and I didn't want to leave my property too badly. My neighbor said it hit a town about 9 miles north of here, not sure if that's true or not.

my girlfriend said that norther Alberta was on Tornado watch too

Since when were tornadoes funny or a laughing matter? xD
I hope I never get one. Cape Breton is never known for them.

tornadoes are funny because it seems every time your put on tornado watch it ends up going to the next county or city instead of hitting you

my aunt lives in oklahoma.. teres lot of tornadoes there... thanks to 1, she broke her hand, had some analisis made to her blood and discovered cancer or something like that at a good moment, and shegot better with time

That reminds me of something I saw on Spike TV..
It was on Most Amazing Videos and,

This guy went into a convenience store and held it up and the owner refused to give him money or something and the robber shot him. He was taken to a hospital and getting shot saved his life... cause he had a tumor in him.

Yeah that happens once in a while or like someone'll get shot and it'll shoot out another bullet or a bloodclot

A lot of towns here in Iowa got hit by Tornadoes too. Just when everybody was getting back on their feet, the Cedar River flooded! So now we're all without drinking water cause the power is out at the Water Plant, and the sewers are backing up.

well if I were you I'd say get the fuck out of Iowa theres noth9ing there in the first place

I LOVE tornado watches. Everytime I hear there's a tornado watch in effect, I immediately put on my tornado gear.
