Im starting to get tired of the music i've been listening too. Its great but i need something new.

Here are the Bands I own all albums to.

Black Sabbath (with Ozzy)
Iron Maiden
Megadeth
Metallica (80s)
Alice Cooper
Judas Priest
Rammstein
Rush

is there any Metal bands not listed that I can get into?? (not death metal, or anything with tons of screaming i.e. Cannibal Corpse)

Right up your alley:
Dio
Guns N' Roses

Possibly:
Van Halen
Primus
Rage Against the Machine

Van Halen, Primus, and Rage Against the Machine aren't quite metal, but they're pretty heavy. Check 'em out.

Haha, I know what you mean. I'm not a big fan of them (although the keyboardist is pretty impressive), but they seem to be one of the up-and-coming metal bands of the day, and everybody is oh-so-enamored with John Petrucci.

Some bands similar to Rammstein:
-Eisbrecher
-Stahlhammer
-Silber
-Megaherz
-Oomph!

There's a whole kind of sub-genre of these German "industrial metal" bands called "Neue deutsche harte" or New German Heavy. You could also look at some other industrial metal bands like Marilyn Manson, Rob Zombie, Ministry, Nine Inch Nails, or KMFDM.

Try Kamelot, theyre cool. Also try D'espairsRay for some good industrial, look up either the song 'Born' or 'Garnet'. There newer stuff is alot softer but the older stuff is kickass.

I have been gettin alot of feedback which is great but by these list im thinking i should narrow my search.

Im looking for something more around the thrash genre, because im really into that right now. like Megadeth, or old metallica

Then Manson isn't for you. They have more of an eclectic sound with distorted guitars and synthesizers thrown in.

They're the shit, though. You should check out their ex-guitarist's solo album: The Devil Knows My Name. It's some of the only shred metal that I like.

It's that always true?

Except for trivium... I still don't like them, but that last album was almost okay...

Now for the question, do you like the thrash stuff or the power metal more? Or the Speed metal (this is the best I think, :P)
I have a lot more bands that dig in deeper but they are very narow in terms of taste...
