Problem!! I have a fender Strat the G string catches the 9th fret and it becomes choked and had to play a sound but the rest of the guitar is fine this string no problem. I have raised the bridge but then when tuning it turns to F when I play the E note on the 9th Fret. The tremolo is locked down, I even tune the note via the saddle which made it go back to E but when pluged in the choke noise come back once more

I do know what I am doing but have never come across this problem before any help on what I need to do next

Many thanks

Might be backbow. Try giving the neck some forward bow (using the trussrod), and see if that helps.

I wouldn't mess with the truss rod unless you know what you are doing.
