Yesterday, my Father's friend gave me
1. Indiana Scout SCA - BK (black)
2. Kustom Sienna 65
3. Cable

I've tries to Google the guitar, but I couldn't find anything.
Also, I think the acoustic may have had pick-ups installed. I can't tell.
For authenticity, i colored some words and such. javascript:%20insertImg('txtTekst',%20'',%20'./board/img/2873_646531471_indiana.jpg')

One last thing, what strings do you recommend for a really active player. The kind that are tough. And last.
I have these now: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Dunlop-Nickel-Plated-Steel-Electric-Guitar-Strings---Medium-104918354-i1171510.gc

I've never heard of Indiana guitars, so I'll have to look it up. But it's free gear, which is better than none. If you like it, then it's good! If you don't, you can always sell it.

As for strings, coated strings are supposed to last longer than regular strings. I know that many people like Elixirs, but I think most other brands carry some type of coated string.

EDIT: I looked up that guitar, and it seems to be a fairly standard acoustic-electric guitar. But it looks like it's got an onboard tuner, so that's pretty good. Here's what I found: Clicky!

Here's what I found about the amp. It seems to have a decent amount of effects/features on it, like a microphone input as well as a guitar input. It also appears to have some built-in effects.

Thanks a lot for going through that! I might keep it, so I can walk around and play. I just need new strings, and a strap.
The amp is awesome. When he took it out, I at first thought it was an Orange.

Well, I generally don't trust gear with on-board tuners and such. But, try it, and tell us if it's any good.

I would say the same thing for lower-end guitars, since it's not going to be the highest quality electronics, and thus sound worse. But if you get a good guitar with a good preamp system, it should sound good.

It's so awesome to see people who care.
The Acoustic sounds, ah, okay. It needs new new new strings.
The amp. What to say. IT ROCKS! I like to hook up my B.C. Rich to the acoustic amp.

My sister's husband gave her an Ovation Celebrity (I think it's a Celebrity) for her, if you will, graduation from residency (she's a doctor now, woohoo!). It has an on-board tuner and is a pretty darn nice guitar. Especially considering the back is some weird composite plastic stuff and not very deep. It still sounds really nice.

Well Crunch, tell your sister-in-law "Congratulations from that B.C. Rich player." on her leave from residency!
