Nice. That sounds pretty sweet.

I would do that but I am more comfortable jamming with something that I can actually play along with (Like the 80's Rock Ballad, Classic Rock, Acoustic Rock) backtracks

Ouu, so you mean it's cool if I choose to play with a classic rock backing track or something?

Awesome ;D

Well, obviously hehe,
But first, can someone please tell me what key it is in?
Just so I know what to do to not make it sound TOO shitty.
Here it is:

Ah,
This is great. Really nice to hear how each person interprets the piece. Too cool. Like em both but might be leaning a little bit towards our "funky Finish friend" for the moment.

Yeah I will get to mine when I am feeling more creative.

And next week I am either gettin' a Grunge pedal or some kind of Wah pedal, so if I hav ea different sound I might be more inspired or creative or something.

@Empirism, it seems to sound good while playing aroud the A scales.

Ok, I've got mines recorded, but since it started as a Garageband file, it's like 30 megabytes, even after changing it to a mp3, so I'm trying to find a way to shrink it. I might rerecord it another way like in Audacity or something (since the original's not too good anyway...).

@grx

did you checked the options what rate in mp3 you compressed it?
if its 320 or more it might be quite big. Ill use 128 or more likely 192.

I will have to do that. I read something on the internet about how to do it, I just haven't got around to it yet. Right know I thinks 400 something, so it's pretty big.

Awesome idea, man. I'm not one for competition, but this would be great to try out. Also, there's some pretty cool jam tracks on that site. When I actually go back to the studio and record, I'll try this out.

Yeah I have tons of improv songs, all my songs I write, I just write the chords, not the solo. I always have a diff solo for my songs. But I will find a bt i like and will do some improv. Can we have our own backing track, ie our own rythem guitar?
