can anyone recommend me a ear training software so I Can pick out chords and specific notes?

it takes a lot of practice, well i find it does lol.

Or go the hardware route and get a Tascam mp3 guitar trainer. Pricey but worth every penny!

An AMAZING site, best thing is he makes it easy to download the whole thing (it's not a big file size).
So you won't need the internet next time you want to read up on theory or use the Trainers! Everything from visual practice to audible practice is on there.
Blah blah blah... Check it out it's very very useful.
But my favorite way is just playing along with a song...
