Alright, well I was learning a song, and it said that if you play a G chord with the capo on the 4th fret, thats a B

What is the theory behind this?

Or maybe I just read it wrong -_-

Chords are built from different notes. The Major chords are built with the 1st 3rd and 5th notes, so the B chord would be B, D, and F. When you capo on the 4th fret and play the "G major" shape you are playing these notes, which make it a B chord. Hope that helps.
