Champion 600

I recently just got one of the Frondelli Mod kits for the Champion 600 and its pretty damn sick. But the bass sounds a little fuzzy when you turn it up. Anyone know how to fix this?

I'm thinking it's because the Champ has a 6 inch speaker.

I have a Champ (no mods), and it gets muddy at higher volumes (mostly with overdrive/distortion). Maybe try hooking it up to an extension cab with a bigger speaker? Or swapping speakers out and getting one with less break-up. 6" is harder to find though.

Yeah, I would say the same as GRX40. The Bass can only go up so high for a guitar amp, too. I noticed that a lot with half the amps I tried at Virgin Music Store.
