Out of those, Fender.
My Own... Godin. Expensive guitars but hella worth it.
I don't like Ibanez and Gibsons are overpriced nowadays for what they're worth... Older Gibson was good.

I guess I would say Fender, since I've liked most of the Fenders I have played. They suit the style of music I like to play pretty well, and I think they are super comfortable.

I can't like Ibanez... the sound to most of them is just so gritty and overdriven... you lose so much quality. Out of those, Gibson is by far the best, however I would have to be slightly biased towards Larrivee... since they make such amazing mid-high grade acoustic guitars.

Fender owns Jackson but those are my two favorite makes with Strat and Kelly shapes.

Yeah, it really comes down to THE guitar you are holding in your hand. I've played really good and really bad of all these brands. I currently own a Schecter and it's great but all Schecters are not great.

ive always felt that ibanez guitars have no soul both tone and looks wise. the others are decent. but nothing comes close to gibson. classic!

I totally agree about Ibanez. The best quality about Ibanez is playability and value but the tone is not that great and I hate the headstock.

Gibsons are beautiful guitars but they are ridiculously expensive and the body shape gets boring after a while. On the other hand, the tone is unmatched and durability is best. I prefer Strats because they have more character IMO.

Personally I think the most stand-out-ish guitars come from BC Rich, Dean, and Jackson. Dean and Jackson being more versatile with BC Rich more for metal. Except for the Mockingbird. It can do good clean, high gain metal, and low gain classic rock type stuff. How? Listento some of Slash and Joe Perry's stuff. They both used it occasionally.

most of those old B.C. Rich guitars are really well made and sound excellent. About a week ago I played a Mockingbird and was amazed at how good it sounded clean and high gain. I think B.C. Rich guitars (old ones) are underrated.
