i know most of you are either to young or to old to remember this but if there are any other fans, feel free to comment.

the biggest band of this short era (atleast where i lived) was sum 41




Another big player was Everclear



Not one of my favourites but a big band back then Blink 182




thats about it if anybody else was fan please comment.

heres a flaamer comment...sum 41, blink 182, paramore, everclear, simple plan...ect could be some of the worst bands...ever. period. sorry lol. i hate them.

i mean just the way he says all the small THIIINGS...freaking annoying. prononce things like things, not theiengs.

Also agreeing here. The chick that sings for Paramore IS hot though. lol.

i actually like Chuck. theres some good metal riffs in there, ive not really got anything against Paramore, ive only heard 1 or 2 songs. not my style or anything i'd listen to regularly but *shrugs*

I put my media player on shuffle a few weeks ago, and Sum 41 came on. I was quite suprised by what I heard to be honest. The song was a lot more complex than the Sum 41 that I seemed to remember.

I went out to a night club tonight. They played songs by Blink 182 and Wheatus - they seem to have quite a nostalgic thing about them nowadays.

I'm not going to go disrespect those bands. What's the point? If you don't like them then fine. While I'm not a fan as such, I don't see the point in slagging them off.

By the way - I've edited the topic title, because those bands/songs were from the late 90s/early 00s.
