Hello, right to the point -.- I decided to change the strings on my Stratocaster today, but the D and B strings refuse to come out of the bridge!
I've tried pushing them like the rest I've tried using needle-nosed pliers to pull them out but the holes to narrow and I can't get past the saddles to try and push them from the top with the pliers.

Help's please?

I just use small sowing needles for it.

Oh gosh. I HATE replacing strings! Well, I'll admit I usually just try yelling at them (because I'm such a professional guitarist)but I remember onnce with my old guitar I just cut the useless strings up from the bottom until they'd come out...might be worth a try if you're not planning on saving them.

Otherwise, yeah. Just use little needles...I'm sort of peeved I was too daft to even think of that but do all kinds of other measures that probebly weren't necessary.

Yeah it's a real pain.
I turned these ones into a noose =] it's pinned to my wall.

THIS noose? Creepy! I personally wouldn't like to look at that when I try to go to sleep...or ever! But I must admit that is creative. I turn mine into a chicken model, I'll post picture of it on the art topictomorrow I think :) I'm proud of it. I use them to shape the legs and head.

Yes a metal noose like that (well no brade like above the nose, it twists together then pulled it though itself twice, works nicely though) it's only like big enough for a small wrist though, oh and it's above my monitor =] next to like a tiny whip made of cotten lol

Ha, sounds like you have a cute little hobby of making creepy things look small, harmless and even fluffy :D That's eccentric and positive, I like that!

I realized that the best way to change strings is to practice on a cheap guitar. Practice makes perfect. I have Floyd Rose bridges on two of my guitars and it is definitely time consuming.
