Lesser Known Bands

Right i know there is another topic like this posted a while back so i'd thought id start it up again! i feel i need to widen my horizons so if anybody want to share a lesser known band with the rest of the forum then post it here.

i would like to start with a band called The Envy Corps.
from Iowa, saw them and met them on my birthday last year. very cool people and absolutely incredible live.

I recommend you guys check out Noir Désir. They're a really cool French rock band that isn't super-cheesy like almost every other artist to come out of the Hexagon.



p.s. I think they're quite popular in France/most of Europe, but I'd never heard of them until quite recently living in the States (go figure).

Oceansize and Amplifier are pretty cool bands from the UK.

The Jazz Pistols - I think they are from Germany. A really cool Jazz Fusion band.

yes umphreys mcgee is an amazing jam band. they cover sooo many different styles of music is rediculous. one of the best. by far.

oh yeah the disco biscuits are nasty too. and a really unknown solo artist is zach deputy. if anybody gets the chance to see him gooooo!!!!! an amazing guitarist and musician. one man band.

This band inspired me to play guitar.
Theyre both relatively unknown except for the latter is known throughout Europe and Latin America.

And so did this band.

@Empirism: I had to check these guys out this was my favorite.

Candlemoss - They introduced the Doom Metal genre.
