When I get off work in a little bit I get to install the 18 volt conversion in my ESP! Lets see how the EMGs' sound turns out :)

Sorry just wanted to tell someone :) No one at work cares :(

Next step, I think a Kill Switch.

Most guitars run on a 9 volt system. Some pickups are able to run far more than that. EMGs are able to use up to a 27 volt system, I dont want to push then that far, but they can.

18 volts should give my pickups more head room and a crisper sound, along with a more defined tones.

I have been wanting a EC-1000, but I would really love to have a M-II or a H-II. But I need a new half stack first. :(

Umm, we have been called "Raleigh's own 311"...but we have a harder edge then they do. Well in some of the songs :)

here is a link to the myspace page with the crappy recordings we did our selves in our new studio and some early live stuff ---> www.evenfieldmusic.com

Ya, the sound was off of a Zoom recorder off of the sound board. So as everyone knows, vocals are normally lost in the room so the sound guy boosted that signal for the vocals but left the guitars and bass as is.

well i just thought that it should sound more like David Gilmour or Tom Waits, kinda more bassy and a little bit raspy, but now that i listen to it again the voice fits in more than i thought
