thats not a gibson is it? it looks like a greco, orville or mayybe burny...

no, the brand is PENCO made in 1977 its a lawsuit era copy. Its pretty close to a gibson though, just not nearly as expensive.

I've got a ibanez from the same era....at the time those beauts were considered better than Gibson. Is the neck set or bold on?

You got some nice little groves going on.

Its a bolt neck, and yeah the quality is amazing for what i paid, it plays great. Also thanks i just made that stuff up as i went.

yeah ima let my band fill in for the other instruments, and this was all improv not a song really, and you can pry that guitar from my cold dead rigimortis stricken body before id get rid of it.

the solo wasnt that bad man, needs some work but its better than some solos ive heard by professional artists

thanks makes me feel a little better, i cant really improvise solos well and yeah i figured out one that fits well over the song now that ive finished it.

Yeah I just used a basic digital camera and sat it next to the amp, i had the amp louder than previuous recordings though so that could make the difference.

There were elements in the solo which can be really cool if just work on it:) And use the whole scale. If u look at the pro guitarsits they use the whole scale. That might help you improve your solo skill:)

oddly i wasn't playing that amp at the time, the ampp i was playing in the vid was two fender frontman 15g's wired together and using a digitech metal master for the distortion. The line 6 is what i play at band practice it isn't mine.
