I've not posted anything for a while and was digging throgh some old stuff and across this. If you have listened to any of my stuff you'll know this is very diffrent.

I Just pulled this song from an old 4 track tape. the recording is 4 or 6 years old. The song is something i wrote about a buddy who had killed himself and I was trying to write form his point of view. It's pretty dark.

The recording it's self is pretty rough, you can hear my kid's playing while i was recording. I screw up all over the place, and i know it. I also decided to leave it and not re-record and fix any part. maybe someday i will revisit it.

Enjoy....or not

ok, for clarification here are the lyrics

Verse I
seasons change and so have i
misprint these thoughts into your lies
if you look in please don't look too hard
this fleshless wound has come to scar

Verse II
i am on fall on bended knees
i scream for answers but nothing answers me
distort this silence i think I'm through
the mirror reflects a disappointed view

Chours
I can feel these chains that bind
following forward leading
Freedom in found in a loaded gun
powder tastes sweet but burns my tongue
Freedom in found in a loaded gun
barrel tastes sweet but burns my tongue

Verse III
My mind it bleeds self inflicted insanity
I've come to love my precious Disease
Apathy won't cure these broken bones
and I fear I'll be dying alone

Repeat chours

Repeat Verse I

I already said this on the other site, but I really like it and I also think you should definitely keep this up with the rest of your new tracks.

sounds like grunge, not a big fan of the singing but I like the unique qualities in it. I also like the lyrics, they are well written

Sounds true.

Good Vibe you created there. Like Ironman said it's unique.

I had trouble loading it but finally got it.

ok Thanks everyone. based on the feed back I think I'll start working on re-recording this tune.

I've always been concerned that it might be a bit to dark and even giving the wrong message. I had someone tell me to change it so it's give a "suicide is not the answer" message to it but that kind of ruined the whole song.

It seems that I am bit late for my posts at these days... :P. Well, Definately re-make it, I love the dynamics on it, easy verses and choruses was rock solid.

Nice song and lyrics are pure quality, but since this is so old recording, im pretty sure that you make it damn good with you improved technique for singing and playing also. Cant wait the new one come out.

Cheers!

yeah my first attempt at writing lyrics seemed very dark and suicidal, which coicindentaly I wasnt even going for. but that shouldnt stop you from recording the song.
