how high or low do you wear your guitar , if i don't wear my guitar like very very high i don't seem to be able to play well anymore , are there any tips for this problem? does practicing while standing up help to get used to it or is it just normal that you can't play as good standing up as sitting down??

In height I am 5' 10". I have my guitar so that when I play an open E chord, my left arm is bent to slightly less than a right angle, and the curve of the guitar body next to the tone/volume pots is half way up my thigh. This is how I have always played when standing, and to be honest, I very rarely practise sitting down, because when you are performing how often are you sat down? Very little. But yeah, I know what you mean - if the guitar is too low (like Slash) then your hand is at the wrong angle for fretting and it becomes painful very quickly. And if you have the guitar too high up (like John Petrucci) it is quite difficult to play stuff down the lower end of the neck (i.e. frets 1 - 5). But I would definitely encourage practising standing up, you know it makes sense!

yeah it looks like petrucci has my problem too + he puts his foot on the amps most of the times when he solos .
i'm talking about that kinda height (petrucci height)
it kinda looks pretty gay but if this works best...

i'll try my best to practice 1/4 or something standing up

Stand and place your picking hand at your side. Keep your elbow in the same position, but move your hand over in front of you as if your were resting your palm on the bridge of your guitar. Your thumb should be able to touch your belt buckle. I usually put my guitar low enough to get the bridge right where my hand rests. At this height the neck should be lust a little lower than a 45 degree angle.

Oh, and I never do any serious practicing sitting down.
