Recorded a new improvised vid today thought i would post it. Thanks to the posts about free drum machines it gave me some direction for making the video. I know its sloppy at parts but let me know what you think i may actually work with this one.

The rhythm parts sound great man. Just definetly work on your lead stuff. Not to hit all the notes but to do it with some feel and emotion. It's just kind of robotic. If you get that I can garantee it'll sound better and you'll have a lot more fun.

So speaketh the wizard of Ozz! Haha and I agree with Ozzy. Wathcing your hands you seem relaxed and confident so it's more a question of letting go and putting some heart into the lead! the Camera and mike can intimidate sometimes when recording but keep trying and try to ignore the fact that billions of people are watching! haha YOU CAN DO IT!

I like it, its a neat rhythm for sure, kudos.
Like phip said the thought of sharing your work might seem intimidating, just forget about that, and do your thing.
However, I hopefully have a helpful tip. For a lot of your lead stuff you were playing away with straight 8th notes. A lot of people feel a need to fill all the space they are given with notes. In some great solos there are more rests than played notes. Just something to think about. Enjoy!

Yep,my only recomendation to oyu is learn lots of solos!! different solos, just to expand your vocabulary and your technique, also i noticed, you only used Downstrokes, use alternate picking!! Watch some paul gilbert instructional videos, you can learn a lot from them!!

Its pretty good alternate picking or at least economy picking is an absolute MUST for playing leads.

Thanks for the advice, and yeah alt picking would have helped. I do tend o downpick when im making things up on the spot until i get comfortable with what im playing. You also have to take into consideration that after i made the drum beat, the video was made on spot with no prior planning, but im definately going to work with this.
