Leo is right. i JUST bought a "Mexican" Tele over a 'Made in America" Tele. The "MIM" had a much better neck. much much better.

probably had a better price tag, too.

ahahha fekken A man thats so true ive visited the fender factory in Corona,CA and I,ve seen videos of the Mexican factory the process is a bit different but in the end Mexican Strats and Teles are probably (IMO) the best deal in the Fender line.

sure did! 350! + was my fav color too lol B&W.

I took the $330 + Case (Hard) I bargained to with an old dear (30+ yr friend) who is the , well, Josh there , and has been for an eternity. He knew my affinity for black and snagged a white-pinned, black Pick guard of another and onto mine, and then spent only a little shy of 3-bills of new pick-ups … Clayton KNOWS I’m a tone-freak and installed a (“stacked humbuckers”-fit single slot) DiMarzzio (forgot #) Hot-Hot Hotrail in the , for me , rarely visited bridge pickup position, its nice when I do want distortion and am playing in the 12th fret up range AND a DiMarzzio ?=Rail (same design diff name) in my beloved neck position that brings out that thick, buttery, “Jazz” Sound I abuse. I love it! I haven’t touched my Godin LGX-Pro in months and rarely even visit my old-honey , the primer-black pre-cbs Fender Mustang that Josh worked his GOD OF TECH(s) magic on its old abused self.

And just as a pointer, not a derailleur.

Tele’s tend to Twang in a few positions, sometimes when ya don’t want ‘em to, and though body/neck feel heavenly even a re-place P/up wont give you the “if I move the tone pot HERE I can strum…HERE and its Wes Montgomery(iwish) Tim”
The I found, by accident BBE’s “sonic stomp”(sold as a stomp maximizer but diff than that, really!)
Its more (BBE Sonic Stomp) of a Tone Tweaker from hell!!! It rules!! (waiting on my Rack Version as I type)
You can up the low while keeping the pick-attack (no-comp) or a million other things. I bought mine for something like 70 bucks .. I’d pay 300.
(and no lol I don’t work for ‘em.

RAWK!
