when i heard a songs that full of lead solos.............it inspired me so much and force me to learn a guitar.so i ask you.........how to play the lead guitar or what is the thing to be needed to be a 100% lead guitarist?tnx advance........................

-knowledge of scales , how chords are built etc
-fingerindependence , so work on exercises

not so necessary but could be helpful
- a trained musical ear

Notes on the Fretboard. u need to memorize them all! sort of like picturing the whole fretboard in ur head. that really helps alot in soloing and u wont get lost when u improvise! =)

for example..........if i use F#,D5,A5,and E5..............what scale should i use or what scale should i use for my lead?.....................

F#minor scale for these chords
all the notes of the four powerchords are in the scale and it starts with f#
