Here's a new song that I did, it was written and made because my little brother has been making some bad decisions lately :( Let me know what you think ;)

Please tell me anything you think could have been better :D

... when it comes to writing and recording stuff... im a perfectionist and i dont pass it even if its one part off... .lol

dude i think this is really good.. but .... idk . somethin is off about it

reminds me of Dethklok... they will delete entire albums if nathan doesnt like one part of one song...

yeah i agree with vince, something seems off, like theres some out of place notes. idk if theyre mistakes or trying to slip into a Marty Friedman kinda thing. but overall it was good, especially once the distortion parts came in, it sounded like you were more comfortable in that zone

haha yeah, I'm trying to see how slipping in chromatics would work for me, since I don't like to stay completely in key all the time... I'm going to go ahead and re-record this and make it better(no chromatics lol)

Thanks though guys!

Back to the shredding board lol

haha thanks Carl ;) I'm taking a break from making new material for a while... I'm kind of spent anyways lol I am going to make a track soon though, it's a song that I wrote about 3 months ago now, so it needs to be recorded and such(it's already set in stone with riffs and such) so that's actually been on the check list for a while XD

Thanks guys

(Enjoyed "meeting you" too Carl lol)

Case, it seems to me that you're a really good guitarist in respect to your creativity and technique (although thats only from what i'm hearing). However, i think that you would benefit from some discipline. I know you aren't a fan of "written solos" and you love to improvise. Obviously i'm not saying you should change that. However, i think that your playing could benefit from some planning. Even if you aren't planning lick by lick, it pays great dividends to know where you want to end up after each lick (i.e. chord tones).

Anyway, I don't want it seem like I'm downing on your stylistic choices. I also don't want it to seem like i'm preaching from the mount, because you're a much better player than me. I just see a lot of potential in your playing.

Thanks Schecter_Player :D Really man, I enjoy getting comments like that, I'm always wanting new ideas to try out that will help better me as a player ;) I am trying to find a way that would help me better utilize chord progressions to keep it musical and enjoyable(since I've never had anyone show me/tell me how, I'm totally self-taught :P)
I'm definitely going to try out that though, I'd really like to actually have something I can for once be proud of from a musician standpoint lol

Thanks all-

Case :)
