So I have a 9-month-old boy and I like to play the guitar for him to get him interested in music and whatnot. Plus, he seems to like it. I just bought a book on learning the blues that seemed like the best book at the store, not going into details about the book in geenral, but here is a little background. Each lesson seems to teach part of the pentatonic scale and chords and how to merge them into songs. The first song is a Texas Rock style song. I played it for him, and he looked at the guitar, put his hands on his ears and shrieked! lol It wasn't volume, because the guitar wasn't plugged in! I stopped playing and he started to laugh. Guess I need some more work!! LOL |

My son will leave the room and ask me to stop playing...my daughter seams to love it...
Oddly enough they both react quite well when I sing blowin' in the wind and sugar magnolia....two songs I sang to them while they were still cooking in their momma... |
