Very skillful playing there imo, picking sounds like it is easy thing. Singing was ok, needs a bit work on technique and couple times lost the key, but its ok for one take shot.

Cheers m8!

Hey, BBT,
Sorry, I forgot to go there and check it out. Just came back.
My favorite is probably "The Churchman". It flows well.
But I like the effort you put into the fingerpicking on "Broken Stings". Keep that up! It sounded nice.
The vocals......keep working on it, it will come in time. Don't be too timid with your voice.
Good lyrics as always.

thanks guys ^_^

The Churchman is probably my favorite too. as for the fingerpicking, its really the basic stuff that everyone learns.

for the vocals i had to hold back a fair bit because if i sang too loud you wouldnt be able to hear the guitar. sometimes i lost confidence and pitch because i wasnt sure of the lyrics, even though i had them written down infront of me and i knew them backwards, i wasnt really sure if they were right.
but really, i dont care all that much if my voice is perfect. one of my favorite singers is Conor Oberst, and if youre familiar with him, he's not really that good, but his voice sounds good, and thats what counts to me

another thing.. is it normal for me to not like listening to my music? i mean i love playing it, but then when i go back and listen to the recording i just dont know about it.

I like your songwriting, I would buy the ep if it was recorded better.
