Translation of achords from DoM to G

Hi!
I have a problem here. I learned guitars very long time ago with an old system where the achords were named as their real sound, example: DoM - Dom - ReM - Rem7 - La#... etc.

Now I wanted to back to play but I don´t understand the way they write the achords (A - C - G - D...)

So anyone :
- how is the name with the one I learned?
- how can I translate the tablatarures from the old method to the new one?
- where can I find all the achords in my old method so at least I can do the transfer by myself??

lets see if you really are latin: tube un problema igual, con las notas. ai, alguien me dijo cual era cada una. empiezas igual, solo que en la (la, si, do, re, etc) la=A si=B

you start w/La, that is the same as A, and you keep going la si do re mi fa sol la

euhm don't know what you guys are saying but
A=La
B=Si
C=Do
D=Re
E=Mi
F=FA
G=Sol

here in my country they normally use the do re mi fa sol la si too instead of the a b c d e f g thing
