Ozzfest

Going to Ozzfest this Saturday! Anyone go yet? I'm most interested in seeing Ozzy, of course, Motley Crue and of course Halford. I don't know much about the rest. I love the name "Goat ***". They should be interesting!

Last Ozzfest for me was three years ago I think. When it was free. Saw pretty much every band except some of the early main stage bands. Good times!

Yeah it starts at noon but I dont think I want to see all those bands. I think I just want to see the main acts. Can't wait!

Too bad I am stuck in Iraq. I've missed so many awesome shows so far this year. Total bummer man.

This was the best Ozzy show I've ever seen. His new band is off the hook! His new guitarist, Gus G., is awesome. When he played a song from all Ozzy's previous guitarists, he played them in their style but with a little more flavor. Ozzy opened with a video of himself in snippets from different movies and shows that just hillarious! Then, He opened with Scream, then went right into Mr. Crowley! Then, Farries wear Boots! I can't remember exactly what the whole set was but it was a great mix of old Sabbath, old Blizzard of Ozz and everything else. he was more energetic and funny than I've ever seen. I was screaming like a little girl!

I got there around 4:30 in time to see Devil Driver. They were pretty good. Then Halford. He and his band were pretty boring and didn't sound to good. I was disappointed. Then Motley Crue. They were alright but sounded a little flat with way too much bass. They put on a good show though.

Anyways, to see Ozzy and his new band play Mr Crowley was worth the price of the ticket alone! If you have the chance, go!
