Well I am looking for a little device or something, a little box or so, which creates chord sequences to which I can jam? Also a metronome should be included and maybe a tuner? Does someone know something like that?

loop station or delay pedal that does at least 2 to 3 seconds (2 to 3 seconds is a long time!).

there might be a program for your cell phone. I have one that is a tuner, one that is a metronome and some chord sequencer stuff too.

isn't there a "jam" tab on this website which does just that?

fender has the "G-Dec" line of amps which have built in backing tracks. i have the smallest one with the least features (g-dec jr.). it has a bunch of different rhythm/styles to pick from, and you can select the key and it will drop a baseline, but no chords. i am not sure but i think the bigger/nicer models have more things to play with, including a display for selecting what you want to play with (as opposed to just a knob on my amp)

Ok guys, thanks for your replies.
I am aware of loop pedals/stations, however, I am actually looking for something like the "Band in a box" (thanks for the tip alex) just on a portable base. I don't want to be just stuck to my computer. So I want to type in a style of music, or a list of chords as well as the BPM and it gives me a backing track with drums, bass, 2nd guitar, etc. Is there something like that?

I actually trying to sell exactly the thing you are looking for. It's a Yamaha QY70 sequencer. Allow you to insert chords, pick a music style (Jazz, Rock, etc...), Pick rythem and time signature. and them it play that. it have a tone of functions. And it's portable. check it out on Google.
