Lady Gaga, Masked by her, Terrible Romance, and Polka Face, can not only sing, but can write and preform.

Respect. From a Deadhead, PhishPhan, And Elton John Fanatic, i can say that that was a really cool song, well written, well sang, beautiful voice and preformance. If the rest of her songs were like this i'd like her even more.

But for the people who said she was talentless, and would surly ripple away in the pond of music, BUt this is a good song. its solid, and its probably written by her. She seems likes shes going the way of better music. Using her Pop identity (polker face, bad romance etc) to bring her fame and make her popular, i think well be seeing more of this from her. Now that shes achieved high high fame, shell write music that she really likes. I can see the elton john influences bursting through the video. The glasses, the dress, the singing, everything, very elton john.

Now im not saying shes my new favorite artist nor would i listen to her on a solid basis, but if she puts out more songs like that, i will listen and say i like them, shamelessly. Because, theyre good songs.

Anyway rip away at me, but it looks like an actual musician has eeked through the cracks of todays pop scene.

I don't really care for this song, but it is not a bad song, just not my cup of tea. One artist that is just a phenomenal musician and is not even remotely new that I really enjoyed from the pop scene though is Alicia Keys. She can sing and play beautiful music.

never even heard of her, ill check her out.

Its not exactly my cup o' joe either, but its much much better then her mainstreem crap. And it resenbles something that could be crossed with good music... (my leg switches as i typed that hah) But she reminds me of a 2010 elton john.

I've always admired her/him. Pretty much just for the fact that she doesn't conform to the normal generic sounding ways of modern pop. Dress-wise, music-wise.

I think that Gaga's music showcases her voice. Not the backing music. That to me is a big mistake.

I could be all wrong on this.

Well her mainstreem stuff is not at all apealable to me, but this is definatly a step in the right direction

I guess you could say it does, this song does, but does bad romance... not really.

S-he's like... a new generation of Madonna - who wasn't accepted by a minority simply because she wore and did what was considered outrageous things.

People like her and she's getting out there so good on the little he-she.

I still think he's like a cross breed between Madonna and Prince, maybe with a hint of Michael Jackson's looks, not the talent.

I view Lady Gaga almost like Alice Cooper and Iggy Pop. She has her own form of "Shock Pop." She has elaborate costumes, a very strong live show, and isn't afraid to do anything.

the first time i saw the video for "alejandro" me and my buddy busted out laughing for like 10 minutes. then it started playing on the radio. i looked up some tabs. we are going to start a lady gaga cover band. possible titles:

"she's a dude gaga"
"lady gaga's ****"
"gentlemen gaga"

You take this:

And throw in a dash of this:

And it's really no surprise that you get this:

I read that she used real actual dead bodies on stage, im not sure if its true, but i think thats pretty awesome, I respect her anticonformism. But I think shes an extremely bad influence on her fans.

Im not gonna lie, i actually did enjoy that song quite a bit. Heres a video before she went crazy.

As funny as it seems, but I dont like "her" versions of "her" songs. I like the arrangements, for example Igor Presnyakov has great covers of her songs, and the melody lines are pretty cool but i just dont like the whole bourlesque-pop thing.
