I know it's not referring to U-tube, but I have actually downloaded utube music and converted the file to MP3 on Audacity with this. Rubbish sound quality though. |

I would use dvdvideosoft.com's Youtube to MP3(you can also do FLAC and Wav).
Biggest factor for quality will be what the quality of the audio on youtube is though :P |

Why don't you just use Audacity - where you can't be tracked for downloading illegally - because you're not downloading at all... you're just recording the same song ;) |
