What are your favorite long solos?

I just listened to Stranglehold by Ted Nugent. Then, I had to hear Rock Bottom from UFO on the album Strangers In the Night.

not really one single solo, but many in a dueling format....Hangar 18 by Megadeth

Ride the Lightning by Metallica

Tornado of Souls by Megadeth

Eruption(tehe)

That's really all I can think of right now, but I should come up with a couple more later on...

Yes Bytor is really good and old rush was known for the long tunes..but Teddie was allways a favorite of mine to. How about Elvin Lee(Going Home)........Night of guitars is good too. After careful thought...I would pic Wang Dang Sweet Poontang ..after all that song is why I started playing guitar in the first place:] and teddie said the statement anyone who touches the the fret board with there right hand is a idiot....no need

I know it doesn't count as a "long" solo but the Dont Fear the Reaper solo is pretty sick.

Well - Eddie Hazel playing Maggot Brian is my favorite.

also Sonic Youth: The middle of most songs. Even the theory hounds could love the counterpoint, harmony, anti-harmony and creative dissonance in sweet slow songs such as Disconnection Notice.

Have you seen this? One of my favorite songs done by Frampton. It gives me the chills when he sings the chorus with the talk box.

Great video. I can't find it but see if y'all can find the song 'wont you be my friend' by Frampton. It's a little different for him but it's super cool. I discovered it on the album I'm In You when I got the vinyl.
