on ultimate guitar it says guitar pro on the right and then i go to download and it wont download properly. What is i doing wrong?

You need the guitar pro program to runs those tabs.

I own it and it is vary useful tool for guitarist and even musicians, I have guitar pro 5, six is out and it looks amazing (but expensive). guitar pro 5 I use mostly for when I can't come here and look things up, plus it has a tool or two that this site does not have.

For example I'm not the best with chords. So I come here if I need to find one, maybe elaborate more on a single chord, or if I don't know the name of one.

Problem being you can change the tuning of your guitar and use the chord tools here on this site.

I guess you could give you only need to know what notes are in a chord.

With guitar pro you can make up your own tunings, type in the chord you want, and it will give you about 30 - to 60 different ways you can play it, with about another 16 different ways you can change the chord. Like do I want the root to be a different note, or just invert the whole thing.

so it is vary nice.
