You said yesterday you didn't know the basics and needed pointing towards lessons. If I were you I would put more time into getting up to a point were you believe you can hold your own before investing in greater gear.

It's not the gear it's what you do with it!

I know nothing about Jacksons but I differ with Daniel on this one. A nice tool makes you want to use it. I only began to practice when I got a real guitar. I had a junk guitar for many years that just sat there. I immediatly sold it (for $33) once I realized how nice a real guitar felt.

That being said: Why do you want a pointy guitar? That seems uncomfortable.

what's confusing about the guitars dude? I mean you're sort of being vague about it... Personally I love Kelly's because they look killer and Marty Friedman played em for years, on the other hand Chuck Schuldiner of Death played a similar guitar to the Warrior(he used BC Rich). Both are great guitars, but it's more about the look when it gets down to it.
I don't like the look of Telecasters-they sound great and can definitely play amazing, but if I don't even like to look at it, why should I want to play it?
Don't limit yourself to only Jackson and only 2 guitars. Shop around. There's plenty of choices out there for similar pricing. Just think about what you want to play musically, and think about your image(if you want to play live), and what will suit both of those needs.

If you feel that the Jacksons were the best find, then cool man, have a shootout between the both of them. Usually it pays to keep digging though, sometimes you'll find an amazing instrument hidden in some smaller shops.
It would help to do a bit of research on the two Jacksons too, find out what the body wood is made of, the neck, fretboard, pickups, etc.
These can have a huge impact on your decision.

case211 im living in Saudi Arabia but sometimes i go to Bahrain, that means that the good guitar models are limited the jacksons are certainly the best here but in Bahrain there are Dean guitars , LTD and some other cool brands so i will do some more resarches anyway, but im still confused because jackson guitars are for heavy metal and i like playing all kind of music other wise the jacksons are high quality guitars i searched for them and about those two models its a personal case my friend has a kelly and i searched for warrior and kelly i found that kelly is better but if i bought it he might think im a copy cat !!!!!!!

Dean and LTD make amazing guitars for good prices as well man--I have two Dean models, the VMNT and the lower end VMNTX. The VMNT is a great guitar for metal, but does other styles just as well, it's a very versatile instrument. Jackson's are known for their presence in heavy metal, but they can be used in a variety of other styles as well. A good guitar won't be a one trick pony, but will sound great with anything you throw at it.
Don't worry so much about being a 'copy cat' haha Kelly's are just awesome, and if you like it the best, I wouldn't worry about what other people might say about your selection.
Good luck man!
