Danelectro have really cheap pedals: http://www.google.co.uk/products/catalog?q=danelectro+pedals&um=1&ie=UTF-8&tbm=shop&cid=3497697041962013763&sa=X&ei=QQjSTtKzN4n58QOUi7nKDw&ved=0CGsQ8wIwAg £16 overdrive

I think their distortion costs £29 though.

Tbh I wouldn't bother with a pedal that cheap unless used, save up money get something nicer that you won't replace as soon as you have the money to.

I think the boss od-1's go for pretty cheap used. I got a couple of washburn peddals a while back on clearance section for $9 each but they mostly suck.

Boss Ds1 will be about $25 used here so about 16 pounds. Not the worst pedal you can get.

I'd have to disagree with that.

You have to be on the hunt for deals, and be willing to experiment. The pedals i got at target on clearance for $9 a pop were worth the $20 I drooped for them. The blues driver really is good little stop box, the soloist distortion was too much metal but I was able to dial in some usefuness tones. It was more of a metal zone copy and not what I'm into.

The best thing about music gear, if there are lots of flavors and lots of different setups and rigs you can get. You have to experiment and find your own sound.

The majority of the stop boxes on the market especially the cheap ones are just rip off's of other company's popular models.

My fav pedal when I was playing in a band was a pearl brand distinction i picked it up for $25 2nd hand. It was my baby for a long time, you could dial in some nice sounds, and some cheesy ones too. Probably why I liked it.

@GuItArMeTaL13 - check out used listing, music stores used gear, and pawn shops. You will often find stock piles of pedals. Don't expect to pickup a ts808 tubescreamer for anything under $150 us though. but you might find something cool.

Check out these

DOD grunge
Boss DS1

There is a feller locally selling a BossMT-2 for $30 seeing your av name is GuItArMeTaL1 that might be more what your into.

All moneys are in US currency because I'm too lazy to convert
