Well this isn't good; I've seemingly had an old injury return. I injured my wrist somehow at the base of the thumb(the bone that sticks out below the thumb with your palm facing you) playing on my brothers bass a few months ago. It hurt for a while and then eventually after a couple weeks I rolled it around in the shower and everything seemingly popped into place and felt normal.
Today that injury somehow came back...
Any remedies to speed up the process? I'm thinking it is a dislocated scaphoid(slightly pushed in compared to the other side). Anyone ever deal with this or something similar? I'm a little lost on what else to google.

Go to the doctor. Easiest and safest way for it to heal
and not become a reccuring issue or cause permanent damage.

Also,If you cant afford pro help, you could try maybe a
a splint(two popsicle sticks wrapped around two keep it straight.

I would say a doctor, your young you should heal fast but you don't want to end up with a nagging injury.

You should get medical advice from a doctor, not a guitar forum. ;o)

Not a doctor, a hand therapist. Warm wraps and micro-muscle exercise.

I do plan to find an orthopedist guys-this is not something that needs to be re-iterated(four times XD).
I was looking to get advice from people who actually play guitar-lots of doctors may think that 3 months in a soft cast is easy-but most of those guys don't depend on guitar for a lifeline. This is why I turn to a guitar forum-to fellow guitar players.
I figure maybe someone has dealt with something similar and could offer some help.

Well, I think I may have dodged a pretty big bullet-after icing and heating the area in question for the last few days the pain is completely gone. It would seem that I jammed my thumb bad enough to cause a little bruising waaaay down in the wrist area. Which is a first for me.
