Just as the title suggests. I was lying in bed playing guitar when I wrote this next one. It's really mellow and best served with closed eyes. The song is titled, "The Great Truth". The voice in the background is me (de-tuned) reading an old short story I wrote about seven or eight years ago. Enjoy and let me know what you think!

You know what I think of when I listen to your music GS? Movies! Your writing/music is very visual. I found myself looking out my window at the wind blowing through the trees while listening to this song. Not just this song but others too. If you don't already have a career path, I would look into becoming a film composer.

Well done!

I agree with mac. Your songs have a way of taking me places far away from reality. This one is right up my alley, mellow guitar/effects/climatic ending. There is a sound of steam being released??? What did you use??? GREAT JOB AS USUAL!!!

Wow. I'm surprised this was so well received. I am really glad you guys liked it! 100% of my goal is to create a bond between tangible things around us, emotions and music. I am truly glad I've succeeded in that endeavor.

I'm on my way to a degree in Mechanical Engineering. I kinda passed on the music career awhile ago. :(

Don't be disappointed hehe, but those sounds are just Bass Kicks, China's, Crashes and High Hats. However, getting them to sound that way took a lot of time. I used heavy reverb, but really had to tweak the reverb engine to get the exact sound I wanted. Next I boosted the sounds to fill them out a bit more and finally, I spent the most time fiddling with the graphic EQ to really get the sounds where I wanted them.

Rock on!

I liked it.

I like it just for the fact that it's creative, and most of all REAL.

But it's also really good, too.

So it's like a hot fudge sundae that gives you an orgasm on top.
