The bass sounds slightly out of tune in places. I like the guitar, even the sound is a little harsh for me. I tend to like that style of vocals but I think you need to do a bit of work (learn some vocal techniques, build up on power). I listened to Feel Alright by the way, and it's generally ok - just room for improvement. Doesn't feel like the song is going in a direction either... just like it's lost a bit.

Just listening to the start of Whiskey Drown... sounds fun... but the mixing and levels of instruments needs working on.

yea I hear ya. we recorded all this ourselves in a hurry. I cant sing for crap but when Im doing anything Im singing, so i pretty much sing all day. Feel alright was our guitarist first slide song, so I think he'll improve with it a little more.
Thanks you so much for the constructive criticism though. I really appreciate it.
Keep listenin!
Peace and Love

Listened to a couple of songs, here's what I think.
Without meaning to sound arrogant, I have come into contact with a lot of record labels in the past, sometimes deliberately but mostly accidentally. The labels all showcased different types of music, so the advice I had from all of them tended to vary. But, the one thing they did all say in common was 'if you wanna get somewhere in music, play to your strengths'. In other words, stick to what you're good at, and DON'T try to be something you're not!
I don't want to sound harsh, but with this in mind - dude, drop the vocals! The music backing has got some real potential, it's a bit sloppy and needs tightening up. I also agree with Doz that you need to get some pro recording time. But what's really letting all you guys down is the vocals, sorry they just don't cut it!
I know it's hard to take (believe me, the amount of times people told me to stop kidding myself and pretending that I was good at bass) BTW - your bass playing is pretty respectable, I love slap bass!
So yeah, either put some SERIOUS work into the vocals, get a main vocalist, or become pure instrumentalists.
With that in mind, you guys might just have some good times ahead of you!

no thats awesome Afro, everywhere I post I never get any feedback and I was really looking for some and I appreciate it. I am actually considering spending some money on vocal lessons because, honestly, I have no idea what im doing. We used to have a lead singer but he got all cocky and let his ego take over and we vowed to never had a lead again. Come to think of it the only song I sing in on our website is Tangled up in Blue into Astronomical. The others are the guitarist.
Thanks again.
Peace and Love

Sounds pretty good from what I heard of it. The vocals weren't too bad (I've heard worse!). Was it a live recording? If so, then the vocals would sound loads better if recorded seperately. You've got potential though.
