Yeah, kinda figured it would be (we seem to have more of the low-end players around here). The pickguard was quite cool, though.

Also, love your LP, LP.

i never really understood the whole "low end high end" as low end
guitars can still sound really dam good when compared to their high
end counterparts.yeah the tuners might be crap or the frets might be
slightly sharp,but i'm a firm beliver that pup's & string choices are
worth alot more in terms of sound quality than what type of wood
the body is made of. so essentially you can make any piece of wood sing.

Lance, you're sort of right... but the wood *does* have and effect on the sound. You could make a low end guitar good... but you're not likely to get it *quite* as good unless you're lucky. And good pickups tend to cost quite a bit anyway.

Doz does (lol) speak the truth, Lance. Personally, as long as the guitar stays together, I don't care if it's an Alembic, or if it's a Squier. Still, wood is quite important to the sound.

Well, the V doesn't seem to have the dean headstock, so I'm going to say it's a Jackson.

I love it. The tone is incredible. I said in the other thread that it had more crunch than my Marshall had but it doesn't. A good overdrive pedal will fix that maybe a tube screamer.
