Has anyone had any luck buying or selling stuff 2nd hand anywhere? I hate trading something in and getting screwed, but I also hate having to ship something half away across the country. does anyone else have any thoughts?

Here is the reason I'm asking. I have 2 Rack mount DOD compresses/limiters i got of eBay a few years ago. I was doing some analog recording and they came in real nice. not that I've gotten digital i don't use them. I was one go on eBay or $9, I figured i would be less trouble to throw them away, than track down to the post office and ship it for 9 bucks.

I decided to throw it up on craigslist both compressors for $40 (little less than what i paid) not even a day later they are sold.

Least you didn't get too ripped off, after all, you had them for a few years so the value will go down for sure.
I wanna sell stuff, but I don't do the whole buy and sell online type thing. I just don't trust them.

I was thinking of the same thing, sell my Ibanez, LP, ION, but keep the Fender Acoustic and the Godin Exit 22. I also wanna sell my Kustom (big amp)
Gonna be getting a Line 6 Spider III 75 Watt Head so I can amp up my sound. Need money for it though.
