Need help on amp choice. here they are, if u dont like those, feel free to suggest others:

the vox ad30vt $249.99(all cash is american)
marshall mg30dg or somthing, its the 30 watt marshall mg $214.99
marshall mg100dg or somthing, its 100 watt marshall mg $249.99 (used)

which is the best buy? im not playing in a band or gigging, so i dont think i need the 100 watt but it looked like a good price. also i looked and liked the amp kind with an hartke, but not as much as the others, but it was on a 100 watt, they didnt have the 30 or 50 watt for electric just bass.

i didnt like the: line 6, the berkinghaftertingthing lol its on the other forum, peavey(tooooo much $$), fender was ok still expensive, crate, or the roland cube 60 or any of those things.

The Vox! MGs have a bad distortion, in my opinion. Mucky.
Edit: what type of music are you playing?

rock, classic, here u can choose urself:
boston, skynyrd, dire straits, gnr, beatles, aerosmith,ac dc,hendrix, kansas, zepp, rhcp, some metallica, some ozzy, lol if thts not classic then what is it? besides rhcp. ye i played the marshall, the bigger models i hear are better, the distortion was kinda mucky and soft, but the vox sound was kinda mucky, it wasnt on my guitar though,`mine i foolishly left at home so most likely it was the $150 guitar i was playing so ill go back and try again

Tweak the eq more, maybe take a bit of bass and the gain off. I rate the Vox over the MG.

I *believe* it stands for Equalizer, which is the Bass, Treble, and Middle settings on the amp.

Yes, it is. I was pretty much saying you should turn down the bass and gain if you find it muddy. Try setting everything to half way (the bass, middle and treble).
